With airline luggage restrictions being what they are and idiot travelers carrying excess baggage, you're not even guaranteed a space in the overhead compartment anymore. The best way to travel is with one bag that can fit under the seat in front of you. My husband travels a lot for business and swears this is the only way to go. I love ideas like this but sadly think they’re useless in this day and age.
