I initially thought these images were clever CG images, but in fact, their photos of Andre Agassi and Roger Federer (just won his 3rd US Open) having a blast atop the worlds highest tennis court hovering 1000 feet above the ocean at the luxury hotel Jumeirah in Dubai. How freaking cool!!! I’d lose hundreds of balls this way and would probably freak out walking towards the edges (heights= shivers). I’d want to wear a parachute while playing up there. Some beach goer must of been stumped when a random tennis ball hurled down in front of him. We already have Dinners in the Sky, so why not tennis.

Hopefully those balls are bio friendly to the ocean! I know on cruise ships, they use bio golf balls.
Some poor dude probably had a tennis bad hit him in the head out of no where!
Personally, I don’t think that safety net is long enough from a run and trip…otherwise, i guess it’s water way below!

Mashaallah, Mashaallah! Burj al arab is one of the finest hotels of the world. I really wud like 2 visit it if i’ll get any opportunity of coming over here . The place i like most of this hotel is The flying resturant. And ofcourse The tennis court is admirable too. I wud like 2 play tennis here wid Maria sharapova & Roger fedrer.
Oh my god, I’d love to stay at that hotel. It does look like the safety net is pretty small around the outside of the tennis court though. I’m not that keen on heights so I probably wouldn’t want to play!

Guys, how much does it cost to get there and play?
I’m sorry to dissapoint you but this court does not actually exist anymore. In 2005, the helipad of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai was converted into a tennis court for a promotion featuring Agassi and Federer. So I don’t think that in any way this could still be available to the public as a tennis court.
